Bell Labs and the Great Age of American Innovation

Reading this felt like watching a battle of giants from afar. It’s hard not to root for the protagonist, Bell Labs, and the individuals who accomplished extrodinary feats while employed by Bells Labs. If I had read this earlier in my life, I might have given much more thought to a career and life in academia.
